I’ve gotten so many questions lately in our calls about where I’ve been, why I was barely here last week, away early so often this week … do I have a JOB?!?!
LOL, as if! Such boring activities are not the reason I’ve been taken from you, my sweets. The first week I was fulfilling my civic duty (yes, as even Princesses like me occasionally do) and served on a jury. That was fun! Not so much the trial part, which was interesting I suppose, but I just loved overthrowing the loser foreman (male of course *giggle*) to take over governing my peers and leading our decision to an excellent and just conclusion!
Since then I’ve been taking classes. What kind, you ask? Well every once in a while I take writing classes, as some of you know. Writing is my first passion and love, and I indulge frequently. I’m also taking BOATING classes here on the lake! I love it! I’m learning how to operate and steer a few types of vessels – rafts, rowboats, sailboats – with and without oars and electric motors (no gas motors permitted on the lake). The classes are in conducted in the afternoon, when it’s a bit cooler I suppose, so that’s why I sometimes disappear around then. This class goes through some time next week, and after that I may take a new kind of class. I have not decided yet, but if I do I’ll be sure to tell you about it.
